$7.9 million going toward projects in Vermont towns

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Almost 8 million dollars in funding is heading to 7 Vermont communities.

That money is thanks to the Northern Border Regional Commission.

The $7.9 million coming to Vermont is earmarked for 8 projects addressing everything from childcare needs to housing.

Some projects include a new childcare facility in Alburgh and increasing water storage capacity in Middlebury.

New York’s north country received almost $7.6 million and New Hampshire got $4.1 million.
