Teen charged in Vt. gun incident pleads not guilty, 2 more due in court Tuesday

NEWPORT, Vt. (WCAX) – Three teens from Springfield, Massachusetts, are in trouble after a gun incident in Vermont over the weekend.

Jadis Arnold, 16, pleaded not guilty in court on Monday. Randall Davis, 19, and Mohamed Hussein, 17, will be in court on Tuesday instead.

The teens face charges in what police say was an assault and robbery in Coventry on Sunday.

Police found two victims– Keith Jacobs, 42, and Herbert Jacobs, 72– who they say were both assaulted with a gun and their firearms were stolen. But they had not been shot.

Police say the teens fled, prompting a shelter-in-place for residents in the area until the suspects were caught.
