QUECHEE, Vt. (WCAX) – The Quechee Hot Air Balloon Festival is celebrating its 44th year this weekend.
The festival on the Green is not just about the balloons, which launch at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. all weekend long. It includes live music, dozens of vendors and plenty of food.
Organizers say it’s a weekend of fun for people of all ages.
“Nearly 80 specialty vendors, everything from potters to jewelers to musicians. There is something here for everybody and people say that but actually we have everything from jugglers to jazz trios,” said Havah Armstrong Walther of the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce.
Weekend passes are $20 for adults and $5 for kids.
Organizers expect upward of 10,000 attendees.
