Pets with Potential: Meet Mia, Phellony and Ampersand

CLAREMONT, N.H. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential are some feline friends waiting at New Hampshire’s Sullivan County Humane Society for their forever homes.

Mia is a 5-year-old spayed female cat who shelter staffers describe as affectionate and a total couch potato. She’s microchipped and up to date on her medical needs, and even comes with a free vet visit. Staffers say Mia would do best in a quiet home with no dogs.

And Mia would make a great pair with her friend Phellony! Phellony and Mia came to the shelter together, and though they aren’t a bonded pair, they would love to be adopted together.

Phellony is also a 5-year-old female kitty. Shelter staffers say she’s quirky and loves to be pet. They say she’s the queen of her castle. She, too, is up to date on her vet needs and comes with a free vet visit.

Ampersand is a 2-year-old male cat. He’s described as a shy boy who needs some time to acclimate. He would prefer a quiet home with older children. Shelter staffers say he loves cuddles and neck scratches.

All three kitties are available for adoption at the Sullivan County Humane Society in Claremont.
