NEWPORT, N.H. (WCAX) – Police arrested a burglary suspect caught inside a home in Newport, New Hampshire.
Thursday, Newport police were called to Chestnut Road for two reports of a man trying to break into houses.
Officers say they found Adam Hooper, 41, of Newport, New Hampshire, inside a home armed with a knife and bleeding profusely after breaking a glass door. They suspect he was high on bath salts.
Hooper was arrested and faces charges including felony burglary and possession of a deadly weapon. He’s due in court on Friday.
