BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – She’s scored nine number-one hits and sixteen top 40 songs on the Billboard charts. Jo Dee Messina is now on her “Heads Carolina, Tails California Tour,” and that tour is bringing her to the Northeast.
Part of the reason for the New England swing is to see friends and family. The Grammy-nominated country music star spent a lot of time in Vermont growing up.
“My dad actually taught in Vermont. He lived up in St. Jay, Danville, taught at the schools up there and was principal up there. Lots of ties — spent a lot of time up there as a kid,” Messina said.
