SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – South Burlington Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a bike theft suspect who assaulted the owner.
It happened around 1 pm on Tuesday. Police responded to Hadley Road for a report of an attempted bike theft. They say that when the bike’s owner tried to stop the theft, the suspect fought and bit them.
The victim was treated for the bite wound.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
