Sheriff investigating 2 Franklin County robberies

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are investigating two robberies in Franklin County they say may be related.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s office says a suspect was captured on surveillance cameras Wednesday night at the Jolley on Main Street in Enosburgh. They say he told the clerk he had a weapon and took off in a small silver truck heading south on Archambault Street. The suspect is described as 5′7″ and between 130 and 140 pounds. Police found the truck in St. Albans Thursday.

Police also say a woman armed with a hammer held up another Jolley early Thursday morning — this one in St. Albans. She was last seen on foot running south on Fairfax Rd. She is described as 5′2″ to 5′5″ with pale skin and brown hair.

Police say the two incidents may be related.
