N.H. pushes for residents to have REAL IDs

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – REAL IDs or driver’s licenses can be used for federal identification, and effective next May, people trying to catch a flight or enter federally secure buildings will need one.

REAL IDs are marked with a star in the corner.

In an attempt to get all granite staters the updated identification, the New Hampshire DMV is partnering with regional airports and federal agencies to get the word out.

REAL IDs aren’t yet required but are recommended for people interested in flying domestically or entering buildings like courthouses.
