Man acquitted in deadly NH crash tries to get driver’s license back

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – The man acquitted in a crash that killed seven motorcyclists in New Hampshire was back in court on Wednesday trying to get his driver’s license back.

Volodymyr Zhukovskyy was acquitted two years ago of charges stemming from the deadly 2019 crash in Randolph, New Hampshire.

He was accused of being under the influence at the time of the crash. While he was acquitted, his license was suspended after the crash. He was also ordered to be deported back to Ukraine, a move that has been put on pause because of the ongoing war in that country.

Now, Zhukovskyy is trying to make a case for being allowed behind the wheel again. He wants his driver’s license reinstated.

The hearing in a Concord courtroom on Wednesday lasted for hours. Now, the case is in the hands of the hearing officer.
