High school students brace for college ‘Decision Day’

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Wednesday is College “Decision Day,” when students traditionally need to inform schools if they plan to attend college there in the fall.

This year, delays in processing FAFSA applications — the program that determines federal financial aid — have put many students behind the eight ball.

John McMahon spoke with Ryan Dulude, the director of financial aid for the Community College of Vermont, about the deadline.
