SHELBURNE, Vt. (WCAX) -Baby goats stole hearts at a goat snuggling session in Shelburne.
The herd lives at outdoor learning space New Village Farm. They’re getting snuggles all spring through the farm’s public Saturday Snuggle Sessions. Started as a way to bring in extra cash after a weird winter, the sessions have become a joyful ritual for Shelburne residents and beyond. Crowd favorites include two-day old babies, mother-son duo Walter and Luna, and friendly older goats Shrek and Walnut.
“It’s kind of rough and soft at the same time,” Willow Eastman of Georgia said of Walnut’s fur. “I get to love them a lot!”
