Police: Plattsburgh man arrested following machete threat

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – A Plattsburgh man faces charges for threatening another person with a machete.

It happened Wednesday morning at a home on Cornelia Street in the town of Plattsburgh. New York State Police say Michael Schultz, 51, and another person were fighting. They say Schultz refused to leave and then threatened the person with a machete.

He faces charges of menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
