Winooski brewery gears up for the eclipse

WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – The solar eclipse is just hours away, and businesses, entrepreneurs, and even breweries are preparing. Four Quarters Brewing in Winooski is getting ready for a once in a lifetime experience.

It’s going to be a day to remember, filled with awe-inspiring views and company.

The brewery created eclipse merch, and decorated their beer cans.

Four Quarters Brewing founder and owner says he’s been waiting for this for a while.

“We had the partial eclipse in 2017, immediately started looking into stuff and discovered that the next one was coming right here in 2024 so we’ve been waiting for 7 years,” Four Quarters Brewing founder and owner Brian Eckert said.

Four Quarters Brewing is having a free celestial event right in their backyard, and they are putting together a swag pack including eclipse sunglasses, t-shirts, beer and limited addition glasses with an additional price. The brewery will close down their parking lot for safety.
