SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont’s first Tesla showroom opened Monday in South Burlington.
A steady stream of customers trickled through the dealership off Shelburne Road.
The EV manufacturer began pushing in 2022 to convert the former Hannaford property into a dealership. After two major zoning changes that allow car dealerships and more housing off Shelburne Road, they finally got the greenlight.
The dealership offers daily sales and EV service Monday through Friday.
