FAIRLEE, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police are saying Route 5 is closed near the area of Mallory Road in Fairlee. They’re saying it’s due to a motor vehicle accident. One viewer wrote in to tell us the crash is involving a tractor trailer, though this has not been confirmed with officials. They say the incident is expected to last until further notice.
