SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Prepared to help you best, when you need them the most. South Burlington is unveiling a new state-of-the-art dispatch center.
The city dispatch center was just two workstations, now it has doubled in size and upgraded to new technology.
The department also says these changes help them expand with the immediate goal of adding an 8th full-time dispatcher so they will always have two people on at a time. The upgrades were paid for with ARPA funds and excess from the 2024 budget.
