Grand Isle County bank hit by robbery

ALBURGH, Vt. (WCAX) – A Grand Isle County bank was robbed earlier today.

The robbery took place at a credit union in Alburgh. employees say a man entered the building wearing a winter hat, sweatshirt, and face mask. The man then handed the teller a note and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is described as being about five foot ten inches and a slender build.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Grand Isle County Sheriffs Department or Vermont State Police St. Albans barracks.
