RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – Millions of dollars are headed to Rutland to support aerospace manufacturing in the area.
GE Aerospace announced that $24.9 million of a $650 million investment will be designated to its manufacturing site in Rutland.
The money will be used for new equipment, machines, and tools to support and increase production of narrow and wide body aircraft engines, along with military helicopter and fighter jet engines.
The building will also get some some utility upgrades.
