Police looking for driver who crashed into St. Albans business

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the driver and passenger who they say took off after crashing a car into the Vermont Grow Shop in St. Albans.

Deputies say it happened Sunday around 9 p.m. on Swanton Road and caused significant damage to the building.

The car was found abandoned on Lake Street.

When police contacted the car’s owner, he said he loaned the car to a friend but refused to give that person’s name.
