Nikki Haley wins Republican presidential primary in Vermont

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley scored a victory in Vermont on Super Tuesday, upsetting former president Donald Trump.

The Republican presidential primary was tight all night, but the Associated Press called the race for Haley at about 10:40 p.m., with about 85% of the votes counted and Haley leading with 50%.

However, Haley’s victory in Vermont may do little to dent the former president’s primary dominance. He had won in 11 other states by late Tuesday.
