BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The sun is back out and warmer temperatures are in our future, but Church Street in Burlington was ice cold Friday.
The marketplace held its annual Ice Ice Baby! event. It featured local artists creating four ice sculptures. The family-friendly event also had free hot chocolate, a visit from Siberian sled dogs, and a touch-a-truck activity.
“Just to get out of the house and to see what was going on. I haven’t been on Church Street in a while. It seems like a really nice day and it was fun to see all the sculptures and the dogs and everybody out,” said Leean Sack, who brought her kids, Emma and Carl.
