Keurig to move Williston operations to Essex Jct. facility

WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Keurig Dr Pepper is closing its Williston manufacturing plant and moving those operations to its Essex Junction facility later this spring.

The company says the move will support innovation efforts to grow the company. The Williston plant had in the past been the site of some product experiments — like cold soft drinks — that went flat for the conglomerate.

The company says no workers will be laid off and the move will be complete by the end of September.

The company, now the third-largest beverage company in North America, can trace its Vermont lineage back to the founding of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in 1981.
