BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police say a homeless Burlington man with a long rap sheet was arrested again Tuesday after threatening people outside a food shelter.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. Burlington Police say Michael Reynolds, 46, had been issued a notice of trespass to stay away from Feeding Chittenden but showed up again. They say he pushed people and acted in a belligerent and frightening manner. Police took him into custody outside, where they say he assaulted an officer with a bodily fluid.
Police say Reynolds has more than 1,600 engagements with police dating back to 2012, almost 1,400 of which happened in Burlington.
Reynolds was arraigned and released on conditions.
