3 Vt. troopers being investigated for misconduct back on the job

WATERBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – WCAX News has learned that three of the six Vermont state troopers being investigated for misconduct are now back on the job.

The troopers, based out of the St. Johnsbury barracks, were put on paid leave following an investigation over the department’s policies on car pursuits and the use of spike strips– that’s according to the Caledonian Record.

But WCAX News has learned three of the troopers are back on the job– Tprs. Colin Connery, Elisabeth Plympton and Luke Rodzel, while Tprs. David Garces, Gabriel Schrauf and David Wicks remain on paid leave.

It all stems from a case involving tracking a suspect involved in a possible domestic abuse case that started in Vermont but ended up in New Hampshire.
