LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) – A child is recovering at home after being hit by a car while getting on the school bus.
It happened Friday morning in Lebanon. Police say the middle-schooler was crossing the road to get on the bus at the intersection of Waterman Avenue and South Main Street when an elderly woman failed to stop for the bus’ flashing lights.
The child was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center but has since been released.
Police have not said if they plan to charge the driver.
