BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A tick mark on your taxes to make a difference for endangered species in Vermont.
Vermont’s Nongame Wildlife Fund helps protect and restore some of Vermont’s most at-risk wildlife, from bees to loons and bald eagles.
Now, Vermont Fish and Wildlife is encouraging residents to donate to the fund while filing their taxes.
According to the department, every dollar donated to the fund on their taxes gets nearly tripled thanks to public donations and federal grants.
