BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont is standing up to the Trump administration on federal buyouts.
Attorney General Charity Clark joined 20 other states in challenging the administration, saying the proposals make federal employees choose between leaving or potentially getting terminated with less than a week to decide.
The attorney general moved to put a restraining order on the move.
Clark says losing federal employees could negatively impact state and federal government and countless residents who rely on federal staff.
