BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington police’s drug unit conducted two operations on Wednesday, one on North Winooski Avenue and the other on Grant Street.
On North Winooski, 43-year-old Jamal Curtis of Manhattan, New York was arrested for distributing drugs
At the apartment on Grant Street, more than 10 people were removed from the home but were released.
Police say their drug unit worked with Champlain Housing Trust and crisis advocacy and intervention programs to make sure those who were homeless or suffering with substance use were connected with resources.
