Bolton approves $3M bond for flood repairs

BOLTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Bolton residents have approved a $3 million bond to fund flood repairs. Flooding this summer devasted homes, roads, and bridges.

Flooding in July devasted homes, roads, and bridges in Bolton as well as other towns.

Residents voted 108 to 27 at a special town meeting Tuesday to pay for infrastructure fixes while they wait for a reimbursement from FEMA.

The town also secured funding from the state to pay for the repairs.
