South Burlington man arrested in connection with St. Albans robbery

ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – A South Burlington man has been arrested in connection with an assault and robbery at the Market 32 in St. Albans Saturday night.

St. Albans Police say a man entered the store just before 11 p.m. and, made a small purchase. When the cashier opened the cash drawer, police say the suspect reached across the counter, grabbed money from the drawer, and fled. They say he also assaulted the cashier.

St. Albans Police say they were able to identify Bradley Lafond, 41, from surveillance video and that Lafond turned himself into the South Burlington Police.

He’s due in court on Tuesday.
