RUTLAND, Vt. (WCAX) – Rutland police have made an arrest in connection with a September shooting that left one man injured. Now, they’re looking for two more suspects.
Investigators say Joseph Walsh, 21, of Rutland City, survived a gunshot to the chest after an incident on Library Avenue on Sept. 20.
Thursday, police arrested Douglas Walker Jr, 18, who was a suspect in the shooting.
Walker was arraigned Friday and ordered held without bail on charges of attempted first-degree murder and attempted assault and robbery.
Now, police say they are looking for two more suspects: Xavier Bryant, 22, of Detroit, Michigan; and Samantha Walker, 30, of Rutland. Bryant is wanted on charges of attempted first-degree murder and attempted assault and robbery. Walker is wanted on charges of being an accessory to attempted first-degree murder and being an accessory after the fact.
