BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – More than $1.8 million in FEMA funding is coming to Burlington Electric to pay for severe storms, flooding, and landslides in 2023.
The majority of the funding, $1.6 million, is earmarked for the Winooski One hydro facility.
FEMA has so far award awarded nearly $111 million in grants to Vermont to reimburse eligible applicants for expenses related to the July 2023 storms.
