BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Staff at a northern Vermont hospital are clocking in with union support.
This month, Copley Hospital support staff voted to unionize, organizing with united nurses and allied professionals.
Already, almost 100 registered nurses are unionized at the hospital.
Now, more than 150 support staff will join them, according to a statement from the Northeast Nurses Association.
That statement goes on to say support staff formed a union to improve working conditions and respect.
