Vermont man accused of threatening people with gun

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont man faces multiple charges including a hate crime after allegedly threatening people with a gun.

Early Saturday morning, Vermont State Police were called to Vinegar Lane in Putney for a report of a fight with a gun.

Troopers say Zachary Goldberg, 42, of Putney, pointed a gun at someone, used abusive and hateful language, and threatened people.

Goldberg was arrested and faces several charges, including aggravated assault with a weapon, criminal threatening and hate crime among others. He’s due in court on Monday.
