BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont town managers now have the chance to refine their skills thanks to a free course at the University of Vermont.
The Vermont Local Government Institute is an eight-course certificate program that focuses on effective leadership, human resources, and grant management.
Eighteen professionals from 14 different towns have enrolled in the course this semester.
Tutition costs are covered through the Leahy Institute Grant, which provided $28,000 in support of the program.
