BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A new dual-enrollment program coming to Champlain College is geared toward growing the cybersecurity workforce.
College officials say the partnership with local firm NuHarbor Security offers high school students a head start in the industry through the Vermont Cyber Start Program, which offers up to 12 college credits for high school juniors and seniors.
The partnership comes as officials say 500,000 cybersecurity jobs are currently unfilled in the U.S.
