BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police continue to search for a missing man from North Bennington.
The investigation started on Thursday when Matthew Houskeeper, 59, did not show up for work and was reported missing.
Friday morning, Houskeeper’s car was found abandoned on Tunnel Street in Whitingham near the Sherman Reservoir. Troopers searched the scene but were not able to find Houskeeper.
Bennington police note that Houskeeper is an avid kayaker and frequently goes to kayak.
After looking for Houskeeper on Sunday, police said he remained missing as of Monday morning.
He’s described as 6′1″ with gray-blond hair and blue eyes.
