BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Residents of Washington County will get to talk directly with their leaders in Montpelier on Wednesday.
That’s thanks to the Capitol for a Day program.
The initiative was launched by Governor Phil Scott in 2018. He and his cabinet will visit all 14 counties in the state over the next 10 months.
It gives constituents, local government leaders, and everyone in the community a chance to have their voices heard.
The tour kicks off today across Washington County, starting with the governor at Hen of the Wood in Waterbury, where he will discuss liquor licensure until 9 a.m.
Cabinet members will be all over the county throughout the day. See below for a full list of events.
