MALONE, N.Y. (WCAX) – Demolition is underway in New York’s Franklin County with the goal of expanding primary care.
Alice Hyde Medical Center is being demolished to make way for a new primary care facility. The buildings demolished were home to various specialty offices which have been moved to a temporary facility on Alice Hyde’s campus.
The primary care team, previously located at 183 Park Street, has moved to 15 Fourth Street on the hospital’s campus.
Pediatrics has moved to 20 Fourth Street, and General Surgery and Urology have moved to the second floor.
Demolition of medical office buildings began earlier this month and officals say it should be done by the end of next week.
