BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – We’re just two months out from the Champlain Valley Fair, and the expo is already preparing for the final act– acclaimed a cappella group Pentatonix.
The Champlain Valley Fair starts on Aug. 23, but you’ll have to wait until the last day, Sunday, Sept. 1, to see the Grammy-award-winning five-part a cappella group. Their style includes pop, jazz, R&B, indie and folk. They told us what viewers can expect if they come to the show.
“It’s definitely a spectacle. ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ ‘Hallelujah,’ ‘Sound of Silence,’ just one after another, and we’ve got a bunch of new songs,” singer Scott Hoying said.
Hoying also highlighted the part of the show he’s most excited for, teaching the audience their own parts to sing along in what he hopes is a choir of hundreds of voices. Tickets start at $40.
