WOODSTOCK, Vt. (WCAX) – It’s being called a celebration of love, diversity, and community — The Pride of Woodstock kicks off Thursday, May 30th.
It’s the first time the town has held a pride festival. Visitors can expect a movie night, high-heel race, drag shows and pageants, comedy, and dancing.
“It’ll be nice to get community out letting their hair down,” said Gabe Deleon, one of the event’s organizers.
The festival runs until Sunday evening.
