ST. ALBANS, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential features two cats and a dog available for adoption at Franklin County Animal Rescue.
Felix is an 8-year-old male kitty who has been at the shelter for about two months. He loves head and neck rubs and is a strong head-butter. Shelter staff say he can be a little trepidatious but loves interacting with humans once he’s comfortable. They describe him as a laid back lovely guy looking for a new person or family to love.
Schmitt is a 2-year-old male Corgi-Pitbull mix. He’s an energetic, friendly dog who is very excited about meeting new people. Shelter staff say he is a curious dog who loves going on adventures. He came from a home with young children and the staff say he got along well with them.
Star is a 2-year-old male kitty who has been at the shelter since New Year’s Eve. He’s a sweet and gentle boy who’s very affectionate and playful once you get to know him. Staff say he would thrive in a loving and patient home, and will likely do well with other cats.
