BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Burlington officials are gearing up for the Vermont City Marathon on Sunday and the street closures accompanying it.
Thousand of racers and spectators will descend on the Queen City this weekend for the 35th running of the marathon. Race officials say over 4,600 racers are registered for the various events that make up the largest sporting event in the state.
The hand-cyclist racers start at 7:15 a.m. with runners starting immediately after. The top runners are expected across the finish line around 9:30 a.m.
