PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) – A candidate for mayor of Plattsburgh is under criminal investigation.
Clinton County authorities say Dan Lennon, a Democrat running for mayor, is part of an ongoing criminal investigation by the New York State Police. We don’t know what that investigation involves yet but we are working to find out.
Lennon is also an assistant district attorney and was put on administrative leave Monday.
The Saratoga County District Attorney’s office was appointed special prosecutor in the investigation.
