BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The spotlight is on two Vermont high school seniors for excellence in education.
The U.S. Secretary of Education has announced the 60th class of U.S. presidential scholars.
Hannah Cunningham of Rice Memorial High School and Matthew Califano of Craftsbury Academy are the two Vermont students out of 161 high school students across the country recognized for their achievements in academics, the arts, and technical education.
There were over 5,700 qualified candidates this year. Congrats Hannah and Matthew!
