GEORGIA, Vt. (WCAX) – One person is dead after an overnight crash on Interstate 89 in Georgia.
On arrival, police found the vehicle rolled over and on fire in the median.
Georgia Fire Department extinguished the flames and found that there was one person in the truck who sustained fatal injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation and the victim is being transported to the medical examiner’s office.
The cause of the crash, full vehicle information, and the victim’s identity are all still under investigation due to the extent of the damage.
The highway was temporarily shut down between exits 18 and 19 southbound.
