Vermont-made frozen pizza recalled due to undeclared allergen

NEWPORT, Vt. (WCAX) – More than 8,000 pounds of a Vermont-made frozen pizza has been recalled because of an undeclared allergen.

The USDA says 802 VT Frozen is recalling MEAT!!! CRISPY WOOD-FIRED CRUST HAND MADE PIZZA with best if used by dates of April 25, 2024 to April 25, 2025.

The pizzas contain soy, a known allergen, which is not listed on the label.

The pizzas were sold in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

So far, there have no been reports of illness.
