BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Queechee woman is facing DUI charges after police say she was found driving the wrong way on Interstate 89.
Just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Vermont State Police say they got reports of a car driving south in the northbound lane near mile marker 17.
Police stopped the car in Sharon and identified the driver as 56-year-old Allison Roth.
Roth was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and issued a citation.
She is to appear in court at the end of the month.
