HIGHGATE, Vt. (WCAX) – Crews battled a barn fire in Highgate early Tuesday morning.
It happened off Route 78 at about 4 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire in the front of the building that had traveled all the way through the barn.
Highgate Volunteer Fire Assistant Chief Ralph Comiskey said no animals were in the barn and there were no injuries.
